This deck of standard playing size cards contains 125 two-sided multicolored cards. Each of the 118 elements has its own card. One side shows the elements symbol with a coloured border designating its current classification as a metal, non-metal, metalloid or undefined. The reverse side shows the symbol, name, average atomic mass, atomic number, common valence(s) and the electron arrangement in sub orbitals, bordered in the color designating its classification. The additional 7 cards contain definitions. The cards can be used for teaching, review or testing of the symbols and names as well as illustrating the trends and patterns on the periodic table. The cards can be assembled to create a full periodic table. These can be used by students in any level of chemical education from grade 6 to university. Includes a teachers guide.
