Using this set of 140 + 4 blank write 'n' wipe magnetic cards (4" x 4") representing the most common cations and anions, including polyatomic ions and multiple valency elements, students can investigate not only the sometimes perplexing naming of compounds, but the balancing of equations. These stick to almost all black boards and white boards and have been designed for both nomenclature systems used in chemistry today.
